Louis Vuitton Neverfull Interior Deep Clean: Before and After

It goes to the office, the school run and the airport, and after a few years the interior lining shows it. The Damier Azur and Damier Ebene Neverfull have a soft pink lining that is beautiful when fresh but marks easily.

This Neverfull came to our Handbag Spa with water marks, dirt build-up and yellow-brown staining across the base pocket and lining. Here's what we did and how you can look after your own bag.

What causes marks inside a Louis Vuitton Neverfull?

The lining is light and porous, so it picks up almost everything that touches it. The most common culprits are:

• Makeup and pens: foundation, lipstick and ink leak or rub off onto the fabric.

• Water and drink spills: these leave rings that darken over time.

• Everyday dirt and dust: it settles into the base and corners of an open tote.

Our Neverfull deep clean process

1. Assessed the bag to check the lining, the leather trim, the stitching and the hardware.

2. Hand cleaned the lining, working carefully across the base pocket and side panels.

3. Treated the stained areas individually rather than soaking the whole bag.

4. Checked the finish so the lining looks even and natural, with the original pink tone restored.

The result is a fresh, clean interior that still looks like a genuine Louis Vuitton lining, not a bleached one.
